The Stump of the World tomato is an heirloom variety celebrated for its rich, complex flavor and substantial fruit size. Introduced by Ohio breeder Ben Quisenberry, this indeterminate, potato-leaf plant yields large, dark pink beefsteak tomatoes weighing approximately 10 to 21 ounces (300 to 600 grams). The fruits are meaty with a small seed cavity, making them ideal for fresh consumption, slicing, and canning. Maturing in about 80 days from transplant, this late-season variety offers a superb taste experience.
