The Rebel Starfighter VT16 tomato is a unique variety developed by breeder Russ Crowe in the United States. This indeterminate plant produces heart-shaped fruits weighing between 150 to 300 grams. The tomatoes feature a striking metallic green skin with dark purple (anthocyanin) shoulders and radial streaks extending from the stem to the tip. The lime-green flesh is juicy and offers a well-balanced, slightly tart flavor. The plant exhibits wispy foliage and demonstrates good heat tolerance, providing a generous and consistent yield from mid-season until frost. Notably, there is also a red variant of this cross known as ‘Rebel Starfighter Prime’.
