361. NAPA CHARDONNAY

The Napa Chardonnay tomato is a distinctive cherry variety developed by breeder Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms. This indeterminate plant produces small, round fruits approximately 1 inch in diameter. The tomatoes are pale yellow with a translucent skin, and as they ripen, they develop a slight pink blush, reaching their peak sweetness and flavor at this stage. The plants are vigorous, with regular foliage, and typically mature in 70 days. They are known for their excellent productivity, producing an abundance of fruit from early in the season until the first frost. The Napa Chardonnay tomato is appreciated for its sweet, rich flavor and its ability to hold well on the vine, allowing for harvesting in clusters. This variety thrives in full sun and is well-suited for container gardening.
