448. GRUNGY IN THE SKY 
The Grungy in the Sky tomato is an indeterminate variety developed by breeder Tom Wagner, named in honor of Valerie “Grungy” McMurray. This mid-season plant produces small, round, saladette-type fruits with smooth, pure yellow skin. The flesh is thick, juicy, and offers a sweet, well-balanced flavor. Notably, the variety is highly resistant to diseases and adapts well to various weather conditions, including heat, drought, and humidity. The vigorous plants exhibit regular leaf foliage and continue to produce abundantly from mid-season until frost. Additionally, a bicolor variant, “Grungy in the Sky Bicolor,” features yellow fruits with a red blush and shares similar desirable traits.
