The Glacial Zebra tomato is a unique heirloom variety developed by breeder Tom Wagner through a cross between the ‘Green Zebra’ and ‘Glacier’ tomato varieties. This indeterminate plant produces medium-sized, oblate fruits weighing approximately 120 to 200 grams. The tomatoes exhibit a vibrant green color with contrasting dark green stripes, ripening to a golden-green hue. They have a fresh, fruity, and sweet flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and culinary dishes. Notably, the Glacial Zebra thrives in cooler climates, inheriting cold tolerance from its ‘Glacier’ parent, and is well-suited for regions with shorter growing seasons. The plant features potato leaf foliage and demonstrates a moderate growth habit, reaching up to 200 cm in height.
