447. DIRTY LITTLE CHICKEN
The Dirty Little Chicken tomato is a dwarf, indeterminate variety developed by Dean Slater in 2017. It grows up to 4-5 feet and produces medium to large beefsteak fruits (85–280 grams) with a yellow-orange color and rusty brown spots. Known for its juicy, sweet, and low-acid flavor, it’s ideal for slicing, garnishing, and canning. The variety matures in 75-80 days, and its name was inspired by a humorous incident involving a pet chicken.
