327. DACIA PONTICA
The Dacia Pontica tomato is a semi-late variety originating from Romania, well-suited for summer-to-autumn cultivation. It produces firm, dark red, round-flattened fruits known for their rich flavor. The plants are highly productive and can be grown either by direct seeding in the field or through transplanted seedlings, with the latter method being recommended. For optimal growth, it’s advisable to plant seedlings aged 50-55 days, spaced approximately 60 cm between rows and 25-30 cm between plants within a row. This variety has also been utilized in agrochemical research, particularly in studies evaluating the efficacy of organo-mineral fertilizers containing humic substances, where it demonstrated positive responses in yield and growth parameters.
