The Blue Sky Tomato is a rare black beefsteak variety from Russia, introduced to the U.S. in 2013. It is an indeterminate, mid-season plant producing 8-12 oz (225-350g) fruits with a juicy, smoky, slightly acidic flavor. The tomatoes have a purplish-red color with yellow skin, a ribbed shape, and a fleshy interior with pink veins. They are great for slicing and sauces. Seeds are available from Bounty Hunter Seeds.
